RastaVacations started in 2004! The first year I planned, the second year I dabbled- and by the end of the second year I was up and running! We've been sending people on amazing, marijuana-friendly vacations since 2005- and loving every minute of it!

Perhaps like you, I had a dream and I had a need: I dreamed of a better, less stressful life, and I needed a new career path to follow- something I could once again feel that “passion” about. Pen and paper in hand, I set forth to list all the criteria for the perfect "job": minimal stress, no set hours, no dress code, no shoes required, being able to run the business from literally the back of a boat, to be able to travel and experience different cultures, and to share it with those around me. It all lead to, what else but- the travel industry.

We all know that the travel industry is a HUGE industry. You can’t log on to a computer to retrieve email these days without seeing an ad for TRAVEL deals. Like many industries, though, there really only a few choice resources for putting together travel packages- and most companies use them. Same thing, just re-packaged with that company’s brand.

So, what could I do in the travel world that wasn't already being done a kazillion different ways? Marijuana friendly travel. Done discreetly- and with style.

So started the journey. I had to learn about the internet (I mean REALLY learn!), learn about travel, get my travel agent credentials, get my passport- and travel. I went to find places that I love so I could share them with others who would enjoy them as well. Granted, it's tough to travel all those great places and talk to all those interesting people and, yes, smoke all that great weed. But I do it all for you. Really, I do. It's a sacrifice I am willing to make and will continue making, so that you can go, explore, enjoy and be safe- and not have to waste time and effort or be put at risk. Actually, that's what it's all about: providing effortless marijuana friendly travel so you can concentrate on vacationing.
